Background and Goal
A background in financial and administrative management, has helped me recognise that to be successful in anything there is a necessity to constantly explore and employ measures which successfully identify, navigate, and manage ever changing technological, industrial, diversity, and regulatory challenges.
This knowledge, among other things has motivated me to continuously evolve, both personally and professionally, and to ensure my knowledge and experience are suitably proficient to manage and adapt to modern changes and advancements, and the challenges they bring.
Among some of my greatest personal achievements are raising, and caring for my amazing and talented children, managing a very busy household, and my various experiences in volunteering. These life changing events have driven me to always challenge and broaden my personal limits and capabilities.
Professionally, I am especially proud of successfully supporting and managing the financial affairs of complex and diverse, medium sized non-profit organisations through major operational expansion periods. Throughout these periods of growth, I was responsible for adapting and evolving the financial systems and processes to contend with the new size and structure of the organisation, while managing relationships with new and existing stakeholders. It was both challenging and exhilarating, and it was a pleasure to also work closely with a dedicated and diverse team of colleagues to achieve the organisations objectives together, while also striving to achieve individual professional excellence.
I believe that the future for organisations and individuals who keep informed and at the forefront of technological evolution, whichever industry they are a part of, looks very exciting. A whole new way of life and business is unfolding before our eyes, and it is crucial for industry, businesses, and individuals to keep up with change so that opportunities aren't missed, and potential threats are identified and minimised or, ideally, eliminated.
I possess interests in learning more about Cyber Security, E-Commerce, The Internet of Things, and Augmented Reality. I intend on incorporating fresh skills and knowledge attained through my degree to compliment my existing financial and business experience, and to provide a contemporary and innovative contribution to business.
